Help Open the Doors Campaign - Arbutus Neighbourhood House

Arbutus Neighbourhood House is opening in response to a need identified by the community. Located in the Arbutus Ridge community and part of the Arbutus Centre redevelopment, the Neighbourhood House is projected to open in 2026.

Neighbourhood houses are place-based community hubs, where neighbours connect, share, and build community together. But neighbourhood houses don’t open fully resourced. Community support helps bring programs, shared meals, welcoming spaces, and connection to life from day one, and beyond.

By contributing, you’re helping turn a new building into a neighbourhood space where people can feel connected and at home from day one. Your support helps open the doors – and keep them open.

GTEC has partnered with Arbutus Neighbourhood House to open a pop-up Climate Response Centre, featuring the Neighbourhood in the 21st Century exhibit. The exhibit is an arts and culture informed presentation of ideas and practical steps we can all take so our neighbourhoods are climate change ready in the future.
